We have had a busy summer at the MMRE lab. We have a few new students working in the lab. Anthony Grippo and Tyler May have been working on revisions to the e-nable raptor reloaded hand. They successfully scaled, printed, and fit the original prosthesis design, but would like to make modification to better suit the specific needs of the client. Anthony is currently working on a redesign and testing of the finger locations and orientation to improve handling of small and thin objects. Tyler is currently evaluating the use of co-molding techniques to decrease stiffness and increase friction of the finger pads.
